My only regret was not buying more of it. This is a GREAT Tequila.

I appreciate a good blanco for what it is, even if it's not my favorite age for tequilas and try to give it a fair review. From the nose of this one I knew it wasn't going to be a favorite of mine, but here are the tasting notes that I found.

Aroma: EARTHY agave scent on the nose with hints of citrus. Maybe a touch of smoke as well
Initial Taste: Sweeter initial taste than I anticipated. The earth and floral notes are still there, but it is very agave forward first and foremost.
Body: Thin, but oily body. Earthy flavors come forward as it moves along the tongue.
Finish: Light pepper finish that last a short to medium duration. Citrus flavors mix in to give it a fairly interesting finish. Very smooth.

I didn't like the nose much, liked the initial taste finish. This is a pretty good blanco for those who like the earthier blancos. It was smooth from start to finish and the flavors we robust and pleasant. For the $30 price range

I had seen all the good reviews on this line, so was really looking forward to trying it. The blanco was my first purchase of the line, and I have to say this tequila may not be for everyone. True aficionados should try it, but this may scare off newbies.

The nose is very pungent. It has a chemical smell that overpowers the other things going on. Behind the chemical smell is a strong agave punch, earth, with burnt caramel and smokiness as well. In fact, if I didn't know better, I might have guessed this was a Mezcal. I happen to like Mezcal, but that is where I expect to find smokiness. Since making tequila involves steam-cooking, I don't have a place for smokiness in it, especially in a blanco.

Once this 4 Copas enters your mouth, though, the chemical attributes tend to dwindle. The earth, agave, and burnt caramel remain present up front. The smokiness is still slightly there as well, but less so at this point, and it is more mild and turns to sweetness, again like a Mezcal. The body is medium-to-thin, so fairly light. It creates a pleasant tingling in the mouth, especially around the edges of the tongue.

The finish is ultimately smooth. There is a quick burn around the back of the tongue and the top rear palate, but it diminishes quickly, and does not continue down the throat and linger.

The bottle is rather plain and uninviting, but it has a nice big cork and wooden cap.

I have read that there is some dispute on the 'organic' status of this juice, including a question of additives (maybe a fake smokiness?), but it is worth trying for a true tequila lover. Again, for a newbie I wouldn't suggest it. Maybe the pungent smell goes away after it opens up a bit.

Bought this after reading some reviews on here. The nose has a delicate citrus which is very pleasing and draws you in. Initial taste smooth with some inital sweetness, very refined. Body is magnificent not overbearing just perfectly balanced. Finish, as suprisingly long, smooth and sweet nothing short of awesom. This has quickly become one of my top 2 blancos, the presentation is adequate nothing stellar but whats inside nectar d'or! I enjoy this much more than some of my more expensive blancos. Highly Highly recommend!

Tasted in a snifter sticking to the sides with thin legs forming after a good amount of time. 4 Copas Blanco Color: clear Aroma: agave and citrus Taste: light on the tongue with the taste of pure agave and grapefruit with a nice smooth burn of a finish I have added 4 Copas Blanco to my 'top shelf' Tequila. This blanco is one of the best I have tasted. I had a glass of ice on the side to cut it, though I never dropped a cube in. This blanco is so smooth and tasty.
