I was a bit dubious to try this one given the reviews that I've read, but I'll probably give any 100% agave tequila a try for $15 a bottle...especially if the bottle looks as good as this one.
Aroma: Complex nose with Honey, Agave, Ripe Fruit and an almost bitter dark chocolate scent.
Initial Taste: Thin and sweet with a tiny bit of bitterness. Not a bad bitterness, but it was similar to the aroma.
Body: Thin for a tequila that is aged 3 years. Decent amounts of wood, fruit and a large amount of that dark chocolate/mocha taste.
Finish: Medium finish with a heavy wood, dark chocolate linger. A touch of smoke that lingers on the tongue for a nice amount of time.
Not a bad tequila, not a great tequila. For those who like a more smokey flavor, this would suit your palate. For those who like thick and sweet tequilas...this isn't for you. It's mediocre, in a nice bottle and has a very nice price point at $15 at multiple places.
