Patron Silver NOM 1492 Tasted 3/7/08. On this date I tried this tequila at the Davis Graduate Tequila Bar using a snifter. This tequila is clear in color and has intense floral and earthy aromas with moderate fruit and spice. There are also hints of smoke to this silver tequila. A mellow taste on the tongue leads to a sweet entry with mild bitterness. The Patron Silver flavor contains intense earthy and floral flavors and moderate to intense agave. The tequila also has mild intensities of fruit and spice followed by a small amount of alcohol bite to the finish. Patron Silver finishes with a medium to long duration of flavor and a numbing alcohol feeling. This tequila has been awarded the overall rating of 87/88 points out of 100.
