Wow. This is a wonderful anejo that is rich, structured, and full-bodied. It is well-oaked so flavors are driven by the aging and the bourbon-enhanced barrels utilized in the aging process. This makes the Tres Manos much more interesting and developed as compared to other anejos. My previous bottle was a Don Julio 1942 that paled in comparison to the richness of the Tres Manos as a sipping tequila. If you're looking for a balanced combination of the tequila spice and the aged/oaked richness of an aged anejo, choose the Tres Manos over the Don Julio 1942.
