Overall, this anejo came through as a very pleasant surprise. The initial tasting was a very rich experience. Among our group of "50 somethings" tequila drinkers, we have reached a consensus that this is a very complex and exciting tequila to sip. We have sampled several different bottles of this label and found variations of the overall taste. Very aromatic with a hint of earthiness and floral, teases a sense of vanilla at times. Very good for the price in its market, could use a little adjustment to the bottling, maybe a cork. Aroma: Floral, berries, and a mild earthiness Taste: Light at room temp, with very little bitterness (just ask the women) Body: Complex and probably not for the beginners Smoothness: Very light taste that does not linger and finishes with a very subtle warmth
