Bright and luscious golden copper colour with long thick legs and aromas so typical of the tequilas from La Cofradia - woods, earths and deep exquisite herbals. It is sweet and delicious, and that sweetness persists without any bitterness. Body is deep and full, offering more of the dark herbaceous agave. Fades slowly with hints of wood, smoke and an earthy mineral touch. While my tastes tend toward the highland tequilas, and Casa Noble Anejo is clearly 100% from the lowlands, I acknowledge fully its fine attributes, deep complexity and the care and attention with which it is produced. This one must not be missed.
