Tasted out of a snifter, this anejo doesnt live up to the hype I came to see surrounding it. Yes, its very good, but for the money, there's better anejos out there IMHO. I don't think Ill be seeking this one out there again.
Aroma: A soft caramel nose, with slighter notes of floral.
Initial taste: A semi oily mouth feel, with a sweet entry and initial taste of cooked 'Cuervo' agave.
Body: A bold 'Cuervo' agave body, with slight caramel and slight smoke.
Finish: A slightly heated finish of short duration, with a cooked agave aftertaste.
Like I said, its a very good anejo, but it just doesn't taste like anything so special that id pay $90a bottle for it.
