I really enjoyed it.
Obviously, it is quite strong and spicy tasting....definite citrus notes. Like many others, I was surprised at how easy it was to sip a tequila with such a high alcohol content.
The presentation is, of course, quite unique.
Worth a try.

Great tequila for 55%. Strong finish that lingers and a spicy kick and citrus aromas.

Bottle is amazing I'm keeping it just for decoration

Highly recommended

And while the beauty of the bottle met all of my expectations, the tequila inside... well, not so much.

As mentioned in other reviews, the alcohol is strong on the nose. Personally, I found it too strong for my liking. The medicinal qualities made me cringe, to be honest. Ergo, my low rating of 80 in this category.

Following my standard tasting process I poured a finger's worth of the Kah over some ice, swirled it to chill, then drained it into a drinking glass. A few minutes later, the smell was as strong as ever but, based on the reviews I had read, that wasn't entirely unexpected. What was unexpected was the initial taste. There were hints of agave but the overall flavor of the tequila was overpowered by the taste of alcohol. My initial thought was "this tastes like rubbing alcohol smells." Not good, I know, but that was my first impression. When I select sipping tequilas, I prefer more subtle, nuanced flavors than the Kah reposado was able to provide. Instead of tantalizing my palate with pleasant flavors, this tequila tried to beat it into submission.

I know that not all reposados are worthy of being sippers, and I'd place the Kah in that category. Use it to make margaritas, but don't expect to enjoy it as a sipping tequila unless you like your tequila with strong alcohol overtones.

Aroma - Sweet agave and butterscotch with an evident alcohol, but not as much as you might think for a 110 proof tequila.
Initial taste - Agave sweetness some floral and citrus notes.
Body - A pronounced, but pleasant alcohol burn...again not as much as you might expect with a 55% alcohol spirit. Compliments the sweetness of the caramel and agave really well.
Finish - Awesome long finish that lingers around pleasantly.

The bottle makes you suspect that it might just be a gimmick and at $50+ a bottle, you are certainly paying some for it. However, KAH reposado is a really good tequila that can certainly be sipped and enjoyed well. A fun an original drink for aficionados and collectors.

This is one of the stronger tequilas on the market, bottle at 55% alcohol content. It provides something very unique that other tequilas simply do not provide.

What I was surprised the most about was how the ethanol was NOT over bearing on the nose. If anyone has had a over 100 proof bottle of bourbon or vodka, the ethanol is very pronounced on the nose.

Great nose, not too sharp, the initial taste is of agave, slight sweetness, that rounds off into a great floral taste, full body and dry finish. Then the alcohol kicks! A great spicy peppery taste that is something I haven't been able to find in other tequilas. Absolutely tasty!

Very unique, I love it. And for around 45 - 50$, its a great buy. I definitely recommend this tequila. The scores represent the rareness of something like this on the tequila market, very few tequilas offer something close to cask strength. Great stuff!

Appearance: dark straw - slow tears
Aroma: strong sweet agave, grapes, light cinnamon and butterscotch
Initial Taste: heated, sweet agave and citrus
Spirit Body: light caramel, sweet mint and grass
Finish / Aftertaste: medium hot finish, butter and chocolate aftertaste

One of 2 110 proof Tequilas that we've tried, Kah Tequila has great aromas, full of character, and is surprisingly easy to sip. These higher proof rested / aged Tequilas are a welcomed addition to the industry. Palates that are partial to robust flavors and heat will love Kah Reposado.
