Aroma: Complex nose with Honey, Agave, Ripe Fruit and an almost bitter dark chocolate scent.
Initial Taste: Thin and sweet with a tiny bit of bitterness. Not a bad bitterness, but it was similar to the aroma.
Body: Thin for a tequila that is aged 3 years. Decent amounts of wood, fruit and a large amount of that dark chocolate/mocha taste.
Finish: Medium finish with a heavy wood, dark chocolate linger. A touch of smoke that lingers on the tongue for a nice amount of time.

Not a bad tequila, not a great tequila. For those who like a more smokey flavor, this would suit your palate. For those who like thick and sweet tequilas...this isn't for you. It's mediocre, in a nice bottle and has a very nice price point at $15 at multiple places.

I tried this tequila at a friend home and tasted it in a Riedel glass. With a pale yellow golden color, this tequila has intense aromas of earth and spice. Other aromas include moderate smoke. The tequila has a medium to oily mouth feel and on the first sip has a minimal sweetness with mild bitterness. Moderate flavors of agave, earth, spice, and wood are followed by mild notes of floral, smoke, and a chemical of some sort. With a short to medium duration of flavor this tequila finishes with a subtle alcohol intensity. Buen Amigo Reposado has received the rating of 79/80 points out of 100.

Buen Amigo Reposado

Color: medium brown hue
Aroma: bourbon
Taste: mashed up used bourbon barrels light mouthfeel and strong burn in the finish

I am all over the map with this Reposado the bottle is sleek and corked though the contents tasted more like a Bourbon than a Tequila though the burn finish is what I like in a Reposado. My favorite reposado at the time of this writing have to still be Chinaco, Sol Azul, Casa Noble & Corralejo.
