Legs hardly form at all - it just sort of slides back down into the glass. Aroma is fresh agave, a floral note and a sniff of alcohol. With a slightly sweet entry, it is decidedly thin in the mouth, with strong flavours of agave and mint. There is no noticeable flavour development in the body, and no other aromas are apparent. Finishes very quickly with a moderate alcohol burn and that persistent mintiness. Overall, it is a disappointing blanco, considering the family's long history in Los Altos and the magnificent distillery which produced it.

Also, the bottle I purchased looks like the repo and anejo bottle but with a blue color theme for the labels. A very good blanco, very reminiscent of Don Julio blanco (of course).

Aroma: A nose full of green olive and grass, but with an ever so slight scent of alcohol.
Initial Taste: A thin mouth feel, a sweet entry with no bitterness. I was anticipating an alcohol taste based on the aroma, but I didn't get it. Thats a good thing!
Body: A sweet agave body with compliments of clove, floral and ever so slight fruit and spice.
Finish: A semi heated finish of short duration with a grass/agave lingering.
