The flavors made me think that it would be a really good and authentic base for the aged ones. I hope that I'm not disappointed.

Price: $45-50/bottle

Aroma: A big time agave nose with hints of earth, grass and pepper.

Initial Taste: Lots of agave with the most highlighted flavor being earth. Hints of citrus as well.

Body: A light body with a lot of very nice blanco characteristics. The agave and pepper notes become stonger on this part of the palate and the earthiness fades to the background a bit.

Finish: A wonderful and spicy blanco finish with lots of agave and pepper kick that lingers around nicely for a while.

This tequila is different than the reposado in a lot of ways, but equally as good or maybe a bit better. For those who love a pure agave flavor (like a Fina Estampa or Fortaleza) you will definitely like this Silver. Again, the price is a bit on the high end, but that's often the price for a really authentic and well made tequila. I'd recommend this one in a heartbeat to tequila enthusiasts.

I like the citrus taste of these tequilas. Aroma: earthy with hints of citrus and pepper Taste: no bitterness, yet a slight alcohol burn with citrus and peppery taste Finish: The finish is where I tasted the agave. and was a medium duration. Overall, I really happy with this tequila and i definitely would purchase another bottle when I run out. Not in my top 5 favorites, but definitely at least my #7.

NOM 1494 ? Tasted 12/23/06. The tequila is clear in color and has an intense earthy aroma. Once you get past the intensity of the nose, you can smell moderate notes of floral and spice. On the tip of the tongue the tequila is mellow and soft but yet has a strong agave taste. While the tequila has a low bitterness, it is actually fairly sweet. The flavor has intense agave and floral attributes which are followed by moderate spice and earth. Lastly, there are mild flavors of fruit and smokey accents. The tequilas finish is a moderate duration of flavor followed by a numbing and tingling alcohol feeling. Overall, I rated this tequila at the ?A? level and would definitely recommend that everyone try this silver work of art.
