NOM 1473. For those out there that think that tequilas from the same distillery are the same (or even similar) need look no farther than NOM 1473 for evidence to prove the opposite. It houses Don Fernando and Mi Tierra. VERY different tequilas.

Aroma: Lots of agave and a hint of earth.
Initial Taste: Earthy agave and berries. An interesting initial flavor.
Body: Medium-light body...perhaps a bit watery. Nice mix of agave and pepper. Very basic and flavorful.
Finish: A nice, long finish that includes - earthy agave, pepper and the berries linger around for a fruity/spicy finish.

This is my last review of the Don Fernando line. After loving the aged expressions, I find the blanco to be good, but not quite great. The price is all over the map. For $40, it's an OK buy, but nothing to rush out for. For $25-30, it's a very good value.
