This is not a bad tequila, good strong flavor, nutty. Smoky smell but less in the Anejo than in the blanco. I would not mix this Anejo because it does deserve a chance as a premium tequila.

The problem with Tres Mujeres is the competition. There is lots of them out there. Still if you have the opportunity to get a bottle, go ahead and try one.

By the way, I bought an Anejo in a simple round bottle for a little less than MXN250 pesos. Apparently these exotic bottles adds cost (like the one in the photo). Since I enjoy tequila and have enough bottle collections, I decided to just pay for the tequila and not the bottle.

Beautiful aroma. The finish has a small bite to it. It is interesting to note that when I purchased this tequila from the distillery several years ago, the anejo was bottled in a cobalt blue bottle as opposed to the green bottle shown here.

Regarding price, I don't remember what I paid for it, but it wasn't over the top expensive nor cheap. Can't seem to find it in the USA. Will pick up more on my return trip to Jalisco.
