I purchased 1.5 ounces of this tequila at Zocalo in Sacramento, CA and tasted it out of a Riedel glass. The tequila is a yellow golden color. Sauza Triada Anejo aromas consist of intense floral aspects followed by moderate earth and vanilla. On the lighter side, this Anejo has mild aromas of caramel, fruit, and smoke. On the tip of tongue, this tequila is mellow and has a medium mouth feel. While the tequila has heavy agave flavor for an Anejo, it is sweet and has no bitterness. The flavor of this tequila contains intense notes of agave, caramel, and floral followed by moderate vanilla and wood aspects. Deeper flavors of Sauza Triada Anejo consist of mild earth, fruit, and smoke. Upon finishing this tequila, there is a medium-to-long duration of flavor and numbing alcohol intensity. I have rated this tequila at 92/93 out of 100 points.
