Initial Taste: Agave, vanilla and spice.
Body: A nice medium body. The agave, oak and pepper mix well with the sweetness from the vanilla.
Finish: A strong earth spice finish for an anejo. Lot of oak and a bit of anise on the finish with a medium length linger.

This is a well rounded anejo. Anise isn't my favorite, but this one pulls it off nicely. The bottle is very basic, but fits it well. Not bad at all for around $30.
