I first tried it on our vacation a few weeks ago in Puerto Vallarta in the state of Jalisco. The name Blue Head is sort of odd, and the face painted Indian on the bottle gave me the impression this might be very dangerous stuff. But a free sample is, well, free. First impression was the aroma that smells of light caramel, agave, and earth. The mouth is a little oily but with only a hint of sweetness. The finish is long-lasting, warm, and with no alcohol burn. This is a tequila that I would proudly serve to my friends, especially those that like fine cognac and champagne. Salud.
